Are You Related To These People?
I have come across this article, in which Costain Ltd., a construction firm, is hoping to find any descendants (or relatives) of 6 children and 4 adults. The children obviously won't have descendants - but they could have relatives and one of them might be you!
The church, built in 1838 and probably went out of use by 1900, is going to have be demolished to widen the A465.
The 10 people are:
They lived in Gilwern in South Wales.
So if you are a relative or descendant, you must get in touch with Costain Ltd. by writing to them by the 27 August. You must also indicate if you wish to make your own arrangements with how the remains are to be dealt with; they can be moved to any cemetery, churchyard or burial ground.
Any unclaimed remains will be moved, by the construction company, to Llanelly, Gilwern.
