Do You Know This Man?
This article isn't about one of my close relatives, but I would like to share this with you!
Ok, on RootsChat, I found the post which I have linked this to. It's about a medal/badge that a member of the Metal Detecting Community found and would like to give back to his family.
Here is the information that we know about it:
It is a Silver War Badge, that was awarded to Private James Hall of the South Wales Boarders, Third Battalion.
His service number is 23861 and served between 1915 and 1918. He was 22 when he was discharged.

Although we have information about him, the name is quite a common name and therefore hard to research easily!
