Remembering The Fallen
I'm sure, like many people have, you will want to commemorate the fallen of World War One or even a family member.
There are many ways in which you can do this. You may remember them in your own way - however lately I have been shown a website set up by the British Legion, which I have remembered my fallen relatives.
All you have to do is look up the name of your relative, this should hopefully come up with the person you are looking for. Also if you don't know anybody to commemorate you can click on the 'Help Me Find Someone To Commemorate' link. This website might give your more information about your fallen hero. You can then place a poppy anywhere you like.
It can be found here: Every Man Remembered
*Note - As far as I know this website only has World War One documents.
Another website that could help you is the Commonwealth War Graves Commission this website does contain World War One documents as well as World War Two documents.
Also you can write a story or write some information about him on RootsChat.
And of course, you can wear a poppy with pride!
