Family Finders, New(ish) TV Programme
You may have watched BBC's new programme Family Finders or you may have not even heard about it. But as a genealogist I really like it, so as a fellow genealogist I would recommend it to you.
To start it's almost like ITV's 'Long Lost Family' but instead of people doing all the work for you, it's about stories of people doing the work themselves and meeting relatives they may never would have met otherwise. Although, sometimes 'The Salvation Army' does 'pitch in' and do some of the work.
You can watch all the episodes released so far of the series on line courtesy of BBC iPlayer. Alternatively you can watch the show live on the TV on weekdays at 11:30 (AM) or watch it the next morning at 11:30 (AM) or record them, if you have the ability to do that.
Due to their broadcast times, I'm not sure if it will be as popular as Long Lost Family, but nonetheless I would recommend the show to you.
If you have watched the show and would like to recommend it also, or have watched the show due to this recommendation; comment below.
As I have other commitments next week. The next article will be released on the 2 July.
